Presented by Encomium Publications, the Introduction to Information Technology English course is for students who have approximately 490-level TOEFL and  600-level TOEIC English ability.

Introduction to IT English covers elementary computer technology concepts in every day life situations. It will introduce technology related terminology in situational conversation, helping students to increase their fluency in listening comprehension and writing skills. The course will present the concepts and the language needed to understand, analyze, and summarize conversations in an environment where certain specialized terminology is used. The activities in this course will make use of interactive technologies such as audio, video, and animation to further illustrate the concepts and lessons. The IT topics covered will include basic hardware and software knowledge including use of email, internet searches, word processing, and use of database terminology.

The Introduction to IT English consists of approximately 40 hours of online instruction and 40 hours of offline practice.
